Hey you!

Welcome to my happy place.

12 Brass Bathroom Wall Lights...that you actually want to buy!

12 Brass Bathroom Wall Lights...that you actually want to buy!

If you watch my Instagram Stories regularly (if not, why not????) you may have seen me deliberating over light fittings for our ongoing bathroom renovations. Lighting is probably the thing I most enjoy choosing, above all other interiors things. And I'm very fussy. With good reason. Lighting is such a key element of the overall style and feel of the room and cheap looking lighting can be the downfall of even the most stylish room.

But when it comes to finding stylish and good quality bathroom wall lights, or sconces, in brass, it's slim pickings out there people. Lots of you messaged to say you were struggling to find nice ones and asking for advice. So I thought I'd put together a round-up of some of the best brass lighting I've come across, from budget to blowout.

I say across all budgets because my starting point for this search was these Marble and Brass Pill sconces by Queen Kelly Wearstler...

However, a quick tot up on the Google Currency Converter made it pretty clear I was going to have to move on and continue my search elsewhere. But I'll admit I did very seriously consider selling an organ in order to have them in my house. I've included them below, just in case any of my readers would like to splash out...and treat me ;-)

I also love this very simple, yet uber sophisticated mid-century inspired single sconce used in this scheme by Decus Interiors...

You may also recognise this style from a certain swoonworthy mid-century pad which has sent the Instagram interiors community into meltdown? This is just one of the totally dreamy bathrooms created for actress Mandy Moore by interior designer Sarah Sherman-Samuel. The whole project is jaw droppingly good and I cannot wait to see the first official shoot pics.

If this is your jam, the lovely Spark and Bell make something very similar to this at a very reasonable price (details below) In fact, I've included a few from them because I just think they are beautifully designed, well made and very, very cool!

So, here's my selection of the best brass bathroom wall lights around. I think the Leonard, from Soho Home, is my frontrunner at the mo. The eagle-eyed amongst you may spot the fact that there looks to be two of the same lights (2 and 9) But one is a blowout and one is a budget purchase. Scroll down to find out which is which? There's also a Lee Broom lookalike in there for anyone who loves his crystal lightbulb design.
